LEBANON, Ill. – The Lewis University women's basketball team won, 70-56, at McKendree Thursday (Feb. 29) behind a huge second quarter in which the Flyers outscored the Bearcats, 23-8. With the win, Lewis clinches at least a share of the GLVC regular season championship.

St. Louis, Mo. – The Lewis University women's basketball team defeated Missouri-St. Louis 61-56 Saturday (March 2) for its ninth straight win. The Flyers also clinched the outright Great Lakes Valley Conference title, winning the most GLVC games in a season in program history (19).

INDIANAPOLIS -- The Great Lakes Valley Conference announced its all-conference selections for women's basketball Wednesday (March 6), with Lewis University receiving four All-GLVC honors. Grace Hilber (Sun Prairie, Wis./Sun Prairie) earned unanimous first team honors, while Jenna Badali (Oak Lawn, Ill./Mother McAuley), Taylor Gugliuzza (New Lenox, Ill./Lincoln-Way West) and Kathryn Schmidt (Hampshire, Ill./Burlington Central) were all named to the second team. Additionally, Alayna Soukup (Lake Zurich, Ill./Lake Zurich) was named Lewis' James R. Spalding Sportsmanship Award Honoree.

With the loss, the Flyers' season is over, finishing with a record of 23-9 and both the regular season GLVC title and the Conference Tournament Championship.
